I’m a lifelong midwest gal. I live in Iowa City, Iowa with my husband, two daughters, bulldog, and old farm cat.

My goal is to artistically capture your family being your most authentic selves. I want you to be giddy with excitement about getting your photos printed and hung on the wall – I want you to look at your photos and feel your heart swell. I thrive on natural light, shadow play, and color. All the color.

One of my favorite daddy-daughter photos of all ti One of my favorite daddy-daughter photos of all time 🥰✨ If were to pull together an art gallery show of the top ten images that have made the biggest impact in my photography journey, this one right here would make the list ♥️♥️ Unrelated, I'm returning from a two week social media break and feeling so much better and less burned out by social media so I'm excited to be back! What this has taught me though is that I need to pencil-in a one week social media break every few months (ie. quarterly / with the change of seasons). I don't think these will be work/photography/editing breaks going forward but they will be social media breaks which has a big impact on my overall energy. Anyway, for my rare beautiful unicorn people who still read these static posts, I first want to say thank you 🥰 and I'm right here with you (it probably does not come as a surprise that I still love/miss the original Instagram vibe of static posts, thoughtful captions, and beautiful photography).
